About Us

Formed in 1952 by brothers Bill & Otto Baltrusch, we offer a wide variety of construction services and specialty services for both the private and public sectors.

Our companies do it all when it comes to construction, and we've left our mark on Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota. We produce materials such as asphalt hot mix, ready mix concrete, and sand and gravel aggregates, and distribute it to many vendors. We construct highways, roads, parking lots, and subdivisions. Our energy construction division works with energy companies on the development and reclamation of oil and gas sites. We're proud to be an integral part of the Montana, Wyoming and Dakotas landscapes.

We have been doing it all for decades. Our long history includes working with the old Great Northern Railroad, Burlington Northern and the current Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, from track bed construction, building intermodal sites, snow removal, and building new tracks. From roads to trains, we're highly experienced in creating infrastructure that gets people where they need to go.

Havre Sand & Gravel, Inc. and Havre Ready Mix, Inc. corporate and administrative offices are located at 1633 US Highway #2 in Havre, Montana, which also houses our ready mix concrete batching plant, equipment repair and maintenance shops. Our main mining operations (crushers, wash plant, screening plants & hot asphalt plant) are located in close proximity to the base operation in Havre.
